CUSA is using CSTV like the decisions corporations make today - Focus on the short term earnings. CSTV is providing CUSA more current revenue than ESPN BUT in the long term the lack of national exposure could be a major problem for the conference and its schools.
If CSTV improves its broadcasts (which they will) it is better for college football that leagues give other venues (other than ESPN) the opportunity to cover college football. As long as ESPN has a monopoly the lesser leagues will ALWAYS be "lesser"....Eventually FOX will get involved (2007) and there will be more parity between the leagues as far as TV exposure.
