  • In 2001, Rich went 2-2 vs. OOC competition. Only one of those teams had a winning record, Maryland and he lost that one. He beat Kent and Ohio but lost to a 5-6 Notre Dame team.

In 2002, Rich went 3-3 vs. OOC competition. He lost both games badly to Wisconsin, Virginia and Maryland, which had winning records. He beat I-AA Tennessee-Chattanooga and also a 4-8 East Carolina team and a 7-7 Cincinnati team by 3 point.

In 2003, Rich went 2-4 vs. OOC. He was schooled twice by Maryland (once in the season and then in the bowl). He was also beaten at home by both Wisconsin and Cincinnati. He beat a 1-11 East Carolina team and a 3-9 Central Florida team.

In 2004, Rich actually had a winning OOC record by going 3-2. He lost to Florida State and Virginia Tech. He beat a 2-9 East Carolina team, a 0-11 Central Florida team and a 5-6 Maryland team.

What quality OOC win does Rich Rodriguez have in his first four seasons? I am trying to find an impressive win. I can't.

  • And you won't find one either..........

the WVU fans think he's the second coming though....but we've tried to tell them .....their program is mediocre, at best...........

Wait until they play Auburn, Michigan State, and Notre Dame.........the 8 - 3 seasons will be a thing of the past.........VT gave them a glimpse of their future this weekend, why do you think they can't let this game go? It was a cold hard dose of reality for WVU fans.......and the future of their program whether they want to believe it or not.........

  • All those teams that we lost to except for Cincy were ranked....You throw out Rod's first two seasons and he's not doing too bad.  WVU has a lot of young talent in the program.  We'll be o.k.
