That writer is a complete idiot. What does that say about the ACC when the three traitors dominate that league? Did the ACC deserve a BCS bid before those 3 joined?Did FSU the year they were 7-4? Almost Competitive Conference fits it. Ranking BC so high is pure politics too. They have beat NOBODY.Florida is no Top 10 team right now either.
The Big 12 Champ in 2003 couldn't beat us but could run all over Oklahoma. Do they deserve a BCS game?
Personally, I hate the BCS in principle. It is a form of segregation and very UNAMERICAN. It screwed MU out of millions in 1999. Why doesn't the press and idiots like this writer attack the real problen instead of one conference?

I must have missed the part where he mentions CUSA is deserving of a BCS bid.  Point that out to me greenskeeper.

I personally never felt the ACC was a BCS conf, obviously a BBall conf first.  Before FSU joined who did they really have that was a powerhouse consistantly? I  think they were very comparable to the current Big East.  Now that FSU is no longer dominating, they actually fit in well.  The ACC cannot out recruit the SEC for the bluechip talent.  V-Tech and Miami do not surprise me Virginia is full of talent and Miami is well, Miami, but BC does.  Miami and V-Tech should continue to see success regardless of conf affiliation.
