The problem is again, not the Big East, it is the BCS in the first place.The BCS was designed to discriminate against certain conferences and teams. It was designed to keep the money in the hands of certain players.
Look at the rest of the ACC. Louisville hangs 62 on Nortrh Carlolina who beats UVA 7-5 a week after UVA beats F$U. LOL. WVU beat Maryland 31-19. The ACC has ONLY 2 strong teams ( VPI and Miami). Did they deserve a BCS spot before adding the three defectors? No, they were sorry at that point but still had a BCS slot.
Instead of trying to bash the Big East and get them eliminated, the push should be to include ALL the conferences or do away with the BCS. How many times have I stated that Marshall was the REAL 1999 National Champions? We should have printed shirts, painted the stadium with that NC LOGO along side our other Natioanl Champions and said SCREW the BCS.
BTW- How many here wanted Marshall in the Big East? I would have loved it. It would have forced us to get serious about our basketball program. Geez, from 1967-1973 we had 6 NBA players in our era. Now, we are projected LAST in CUSA this year.
