We are continuing our Preseason College Football Countdown, ranking every team at the Football Bowl Subdivision level from 120 down to 1.
 
Matt Murschel compiled the rankings based on several factors including: returning letterwinners, returning starters, 2010 performance, coaching staff changes, strength of schedule and strength of the conference.

I tell you what guys....all the analysts predictions pretty much trash us for this season and I cant say its not taking a toll on me.  Im really sick and tired of this crap.  I think we are poised to do much better either starting this season or next.  I know our schedule is hard this season and we probably will be again close to leading the nation in playing underclassmen...

Doc needs to get us a freakin QB recruit asap. If Louisivlle can pick up a 5 star QB that was originally going to Miama (FL) then we can get a freakin 4 star guy.....come on Doc!!!

I think our RBs and WRs are going to be WAY better than prognosticators are saying.....WAY better....Big East level talent in those areas and in the defensive backfield....

Its clear that Doc hasnt been able to get a QB that is as talented as our RBs and WRs....hopefully one of these guys is a diamond in the rough.  We can get good QBs at Marshall.....right now all we need is a stan hill, eric kresser type....doesnt have to be a CP or BL.......

lastly, as doc continues to put extream positive pressure on recruiting....he better show he can coach like Charlie Strong.....we need a coach....not another Snyder....

I don't think it's clear at all on Doc's QB recruiting.  He only had a few weeks to get his first class and it's still too early to evaluate Eddie.  His second class hasn't even had their first practice.  He has a 3 star committed in this class. (BTW Rivals has no 5 star QB's this year)  Norvell is ranked by Rivals as the 25th best QB.  No other non-BCS school has a commit of the top 30 QB's.  It's a long way to go before signing day.
