Sam Stanley is moving to Hospice

    • Sue, Sam's wife called to tell me they are moving Sam to Hospice. He had seemed to have recovered remarkably well from recent cancer surgery. If ever anyone was "green to the core" it's Sam.

    Please keep Sam and family in your prayers.

    • Not a better guy out there than Sam.  I am hoping to get to visit him at Christmas.

    • I spoke to his daughter last week, it took them by surprise. Not looking good. He's a great guy and true Herd fan through and through.

    • A true Son of Marshall.  I'm sorry to hear that it seems that Sam is near the end of his earthly life.

    • Sam passed away this morning. I knew him from Oley Jr., HHS, and Marshall and he was always the same...upbeat,cheerful,and a dear,dear friend.  May God be with Sam and the family.
