  • As noted earlier, I usually hate NHR posts, but can't resist this one...

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The big addition to the West Virginia University women's basketball team this offseason has decided to give up the game to find something more her style.

Forward Krystal Forthan, who transferred to the Mountaineers from LSU last month, told Coach Mike Carey she's leaving WVU to become a model.

  • Or hair extensions.  Dear God.  Only a Mountaineer could see a model in this beast.

  • Talk about having some talent, unrealistic expectations, and a naive belief success is going to be handed to you on a silver platter.

If she heads for New York; she’ll be in the Bowery, strung out in a year.

  • She could be one of those live models.....

I could see her dressed in bib overalls standing in front of a garden, to scare birds and animals away.....

  • Maybe it's a misprint and she's going to BUILD models...surely that's got to be what it is.

  • The tone of many of these comments made me think I was on a BLU and Yellar board. We rave about their lack of class then turn around and resemble them. Some of you belong up north.

  • If you read the article, she never set foot on WVU campus...It's not so much a WVU thing as just funny, IMO.
