Dave WilsonHuntington, WV No matter what he tries to tell himself, it will probably be a little awkward for Western Carolina quarterback Eddie Sullivan to get dressed in the visiting locker room on Saturday. It was just a year ago Sullivan was suiting up with The Herd. However, late in the year Sullivan made a choice that many college quarterbacks are faced with. Stay with his team or move on to another school where he could play.Sullivan chose to leave the Marshall program as it prepared to travel to Memphis leaving The Herd with just two quarterbacks on the roster. Ultimately, Marshall would be forced to finish the season with just a single active quarterback due to Blake Frohnapfel's shoulder surgery. "It's an odd time to leave, but I think our kids understand that quarterback is a little different of a position," said Holliday. "This happens all over the country. If you're not going to play then you might transfer. I'm sure he left for the opportunity to play."
