HUNTINGTON -- Memphis comes into Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Saturday with a 1-7 record, but Marshall University football players aren't buying it.

Marshall sees a Memphis team that rushed for 240 yards on UCF two weeks ago and they see the team that was tight with SMU in the third quarter before their own mistakes started to creep up.

And no one knows about how self-inflicted wounds can hinder a team better than Marshall.

That's why Marshall's players also know Memphis can be dangerous if the Herd doesn't get pressure on them.

  • This drives me nuts about the mentality of this team....how in the hell could we "overlook" any team at this point?
I am also tired of hearing "we came out flat" or, as Shuler said after the ucf embarassment, we know "we can't take games for granted anymore"......What?

I couldn't agree more. This tells me Doc cannot motivate this team, and that is a major problem
