Topic: just bought my first Mac

Point and click, you can't hurt it.  If you do, just google your symptoms and usually step by step instructions for the fix are in the first few listings... I know it doesn't make it any easier, but it amazing what all you learn clicking on random things.  Just don't do that on the web:)

There's a learning curve, but there is when switching from one technology to the other. I know I finally convinced my wife to get a MacBook Pro this summer and for the first month she hated, now she bitches when she has to use a Windows PC at work. I know a couple others that have tried it and never did get the hang of OS X so went back to Windows. It's all about your personal preference.

I have a MacBook Pro that I use at the office on a huge monitor and an older MacBook I use at home for the limited amount of work I allow myself to do in the evenings/weekends. The company gave us used Dell's, mine sits next to my desk hooked up to a small monitor that plays Netflix all day, that's it.

I switched to Mac about 8 years ago.  One of the best decisions I've ever made.  I hate working on my work pc laptop.  At least our company has given us iPad's this year.

My kids have Macs and love them. I have to admit when I have had the opportunity and messed with them,,,, they are nice.
