  • How about writing a column on how Herrion is waisting his athletes on this slow grind it type of half court stand around offense he runs instead of getting his long athletic runners RUNNING and PRESSING. I wouldn't even be as mad about losing if they were fun and exciting to watch. Also knowing they were playing to their strengths instead of seeing "long tall athletes" standing around scoring 50-60 pts a game standing around on offense and being a one trick pony on defense. COME ON CHUCK put the pressure on Herrion to play "MARSHALL BASKETBALL". Get it up and down the floor boys and use those long athletic bodies!!!! Like someone else said, our type of physical talent matches the style of the old Shark's runnin rebels not Princeton. And Princeton is what we have been trying to do.

Hate to disagree 60 but there is no way under the sun that the MU offense remotely resembles the Princeton offense.  Princeton's offense is continual motion, usually using every second of the shot clock.  MU's motion, albeit lately I've noticed is improving, is nowhere near being a Princeton-type offense, imo!

  • I would like to see the run and gun version of the 1989-90 Loyola-Marymount team.  Now that was fun basketball.

  • I've wondered the last two years why in the world would a poor shooting team like us want to set up and run our half court set.

  • I couldn't read anything after "waisting."

  • Sounds familiar, "if Marshall ran an exciting offense I would come to games regardless if we win or lose."  Marshall's offense leads the nation and 15,000 show up for final home game.
