Marshall men’s basketball’s bench got that much shorter when it was announced Monday DeAndre Kane would be out for an indefinite amount of time with a hand injury.

Unfortunately for The Herd, injuries and other issues have kept players out of game action just ten games into the season.

“We’ve been through it all year,” head coach Tom Herrion said. “We lost Kareem (Canty) early to a different scenario. Then we lost some guys to injury and then with Kane getting hurt recently, guys have to step up, next man up.”

“There’s no one who’s going to feel sorry for us. Cincinnati isn’t going to care who we dress, Savannah State isn’t going to care who we dress, so we’re going put the guys out there in a white or green uniform that are ready to play.”
