Not really surprised
I'm quite shocked after what I saw out of Leggett early in practice last year and what I heard about him over the summer. You don't move a potential lock-down corner to safety.
Think about some of the best defenses we had. They all had really good or great safties. 1997 - 1999: Rogers Beckett2004 - 2005: Chris Royal (maybe the most underrated Herd player of my generation. I'm 25.) 2009: Ashton Hall And don't forget Chris Crocker. He was part of some good secondaries on defenses that struggled to stop the run with the front 7. Hopefully, Hunter and Leggett will play at a high level.
Curtis Keyes?
The best ever to wear the green and white on defense. Hardest hitter ever and a game changer. #25 was the man. JMO though.Jonathon Goddard in mine. The man was a game changer. Larry mccloud also a BEAST
