    GRANT TRAYLOR

    TULSA, Okla. -- November 14.

It's a day when many people are looking forward to Thanksgiving and starting to make plans for Christmas.

But for people from Huntington and anyone associated with the Marshall University football program, it is a day for somber reflection and remembrance.

It was on Nov. 14, 1970, that Southern Airways Flight 932 crashed en route from Greenville, N.C., to Tri-State Airport. The plane was carrying Marshall's football team and traveling party on the way back from a 17-14 loss to East Carolina. All 75 people on the plane died.
