Just watched a story on this man on CBS SUNDAY MORNING (if the show isn't "must see TV" for you, it should be)...how he fought from humble beginnings as a Rice grad (one connection) and the CFL to the NFL and a Super Bowl ring with Baltimore, then how he became director/counselor for the players program with the Ravens...at 38, he contracted ALS and after six years (outliving his projected life span) and now confined to a wheelchair without being able to speak, he continues to work five days a week and counseling guys like Albert McClellan and Omar Browne (the other connection)...for all of us who consider the W/L record as "life or death", well, look at O.J. Brigance...he has a book, a foundation, and a story to consider...
