I think MTSU can be considered a turning point for Doc. In my mind, there has been a noticeable difference in the way games are managed. In those moments that we typically go ultra-conservative and play not to lose, we've been stepping on the gas and playing to win.
Doc still has a championship to win and a bowl game in which the team should at least show well before I consider him a possible success.
Cato has to get a share of the credit for this turnaround. After MTSU he said "It ain't hapenin' again." It hasn't. Don't forget the Beard Mafia, baby.
