The Dolphins added former Marshall tight end Gator Hoskins late on Saturday night.

Hoskins wasn't invited to the NFL combine, but at his pro day, he measured just over 6'1", and 253 pounds. He doesn't have the size to be a full-time tight end in the NFL, so he will likely be utilized like how current Dolphins tight end Charles Clay is.

Hoskins had a positive showing at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, showing the ability to separate from linebackers with his solid quickness.

For a roster trying to add more playmakers, Hoskins will serve as camp depth, with the possibility of being moved to the practice squad.
