  • So he has to sit one year, and then he'll be eligible to play just one year?

  • The NCAA gave him a hardship transfer. I don't know if he'll have to sit or not.

  • Hardship = no sitting out I believe. Miami fans seem to think they are better without him. Also before he transferred so not sure about this one.

  • He is the kid we were recruiting when we found Justin Edmonds.  They were teammates at Owens Community College.

he was good enough to make an ACC team.  that means he's a HUGE upgrade over anybody else on our herrion-constructed mostly D-II roster.

Simply making a team in a conference associated with good teams doesnt mean you are a great player. He had lack luster production there in the few games he played. Averaged like 6 points, and that was against non conference opponents so not exactly powerhouses.  And he obviously had discipline issues as he was suspended for violating team rules. However, I will agree, itbwould be tough no to be an upgrade from the current guys

When will some get over the pessimistic outlook on things? To state an opinion, especially when supported by statistics, is not being negative.  It is stating a supported opinion. I am being neither negative, nor positive, Pretty apathetic on the situation really. Its simply my take. Not sure how much he can help the team.

Opportunity here, sometimes not what you say, it's how you say it.

This is a HERD fans forum, no need to start with negative vibes. That's how I took your comments and thought there was a smoother way to express reservations.

There's a couple of other outlets to flame, gripe and deliver huge negative concerns before the player or coach has a shot at getting it right. Many of us migrate to the moderate form of expressing concern.

Sorry if I misinterpreted your comment.

  • Lets give the guy a chance.Anything will be better than last years attitude the players had with Herron.Give Danny at least 3 years to staiten the mess out before going negative.I beleive we will be happy with him in a few years.
