  • Due to an unhealthy QB and a horrible O-line, the Herd offense looked more like the Buffalo offense last year.

Let's not forget one thing, back when Pennington and Leftwich ran the offense, Larry Kueck was the mastermind.  Kueck uses the talent he has and adapts the offense around it.

With Pennington - more play action
With Leftwich - airing it out

Under Kueck, I'm confident that we will light up scoreboards next season.

With William & Mary for sure.

With an improved O-line and a great backfield, I'm guessing we'll see more of a Pennington-like offense with either Morris or Devine at the helm.  I think we'll air it out to guys like Flier and Fitzgerald, but it may be off of play action.

  • I was happy with what I saw during the green and white game last year.  I was seriously disappointed in what I saw in the opening game.  I'll go to the Green and White game this year.  But no matter what I see, I won't feel really comfortable until the 3rd quarter of the K State game.  Even if we look good against W and M, I'll be cautiously optimistic.
