Former Herd players back for fund-raiser

Several former Marshall athletes are scheduled to return to Huntington to participate in Chad Pennington’s First and 10 Foundation Celebrity Bowl on April 7 at The Strike Zone. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Expected to attend are former Herd football players Byron Leftwich, Troy Brown, Chris Hanson and Mike Bartrum, as well as pro athletes Anthony Becht, Jerald Sowell, Kareem McKenzie, Kevin Mawae and Rick Reed.

In addition to bowling competition, a silent auction will be held for memorabilia autographed by sports stars such as Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods. Three levels of sponsorship packages are available for companies and businesses. For information, call 212-966-3721.
