On Thursday, a day after Bob Pruett announced his resignation, MU athletic director Bob “Kayo’’ Marcum said his phone has been anything but quiet.
 
“I haven’t had anything more than, oh, 80, 90 calls,’’ Marcum said. “Also, there have been maybe a dozen agents call that represent a dozen or more coaches.

This is why Marshall at least needs to see who is interested in the job before deciding on anyone.

Huff, I believe the problem may be MONEY!  National programs are being cut, and state programs have continually been cut;  where does that place MU.  Even many of its' supporters have been placed in a more strained condition due to the WV economy.  We all need to step-up our donations to keep MU performing at, or close to the level it has over the past (9) years.  Hopefully, 10 years from now the state will be in a better economic position, but right now it is broke.

not true, there may be a possiblitiy that a coach would just love the opportunity to take a program like ours into more of the National Spotlight. You know build a legacy.  With the things a happening to Barnett and Neuheisal sometimes going to a smaller school less media is worth its weight in gold.
