  • He offers to give back $2M to help the Jets acquire Coles. Not restructure. GIVE BACK. That just doesn't happen in professional sports.

  • I would expect no less from him. He's the type of player you want to have in the NFL as an alumni of your school. He is a gentleman, he is a leader, and he is so unselfish it's hardly not human. He and LC were good friends and hopefully LC will publically thank him for this and get NYC back on his side. I think having LC back will put Pennington back to where he should be.

    But this is indeed a great act by Chad.

  • Dang, that's cool as heck...

    But watch out!  The media in NYC may turn this into problems for Chad.  They're already mentioning how perhaps the Jets organization isn't committed to winning, since a player had to help lure another player financially.
