    • Just speculation but. Do you think BP left because of what is to come in the future. Coming off a sh*ty season and into a season that has the potential to be very bad. The would be starting QB  is facing jail time, there is no continuity or leadership on the team, the defense has to be rebuilt and to top it off we enter a new tougher conference. I think he knows this year could be bad and he would feel some heat for two consecutive bad seasons. I honestly think this could be the worst season for marshall in the last twenty years. I hope that is not the case but I just have this feeling.

    • You left out that Angel left and Marcum will leave in June....I'm sure there are other disparaging things we can think of.   :o

    • You also left out any and all factual evidence that we are going to have a bad year.

    Considering the fact that we just came off a season in which we went to a bowl game.  You know how many schools would love to be able to say that.

    • B.S. Billybob. Pruett isn't scared of what may or may not happen on the field. I doubt very seriously that his retirement has anything to do with the on-field side of coaching.

    • SPECULATION. If you guys need me define it for you I would be happy to. I had hoped that you guys graduated with a degree other then basket weaving and that isn't needed but here it is.

    1.  To meditate on a subject; reflect.
    2.  To engage in a course of reasoning often based on inconclusive evidence.

    I am simply putting the subject out there looking for opinions. What we do as a group is speculate on the validity of the subject matter and draw conclusions. That's why I made sure to preface the post with "Just Speculation".
