  • This Chase Litton article should warm your hearts on this Christmas day.
After reading this article, I'm more than convinced Chase was guided here at Marshall for a special reason. Here's part of the article that jumped out at me... ( She remembers Chase’s first few years, when illness stole away his immune system, forcing him to take heavy narcotics. That placed a strain on his tiny heart.

“He coded twice on us,’’ she said. “I remember the doctors drawing a little pie chart and saying, ‘One of two things will happen. Either he will grow out of this by age 5 ... or he won’t make it to 5.’ ”

  • Wow, that really puts things into perspective and reminds all of us that we spend too much time complaining about issues that are small in the grand scheme of things.

  • He is a special young man E. Life is full of mysteries.  I totally believe there are no coincidences.  There is a purpose behind all of life's ups and downs.

  • Nice story. Didn't know that happened to Chase as a kid.
Mr and Mrs Litton frequent BigCity's tailgate and I never heard them mention it.
I especially enjoy when Mrs Litton is around. She is all smiles and is hugging everybody.
Best wishes for Chase. Glad the young man is on our team.
