It seems to me that the Marshall community has the best group of leaders since I started following in 98.  Steve Williams, Mark Hamrick, Doc Holliday, Gary White, and so far as I can tell Dantoni and on paper Gilbert.  All have been able to execute in their roles.  The governor is a MU grad, as are several other influential state leaders.


Night and day difference compared to Angel, Jean Dean/Fellington, and of course Marcum.

Have to throw Dr. Kopp in there also.  A lot of our current progress/momentum started with him.  He told Mike to lead and develop a plan for athletics and he would support him.  Then, Dr. K. did the same on the academic side.  His contributions can't be minimized!!

Jean Dean was certainly not bad for Marshall.  Don't know where that comes from.  I like the current group as well but the real change is the mayor.  Foolington was a complete Maroon.
