Who goes from OL as a FR, to team MVP at QB, to all-conf TE, to All-State DE in 4 years?

Pretty sure Howard's scholarship had been open for a few months so it wouldn't be last minute.

The guy has to be tremendously athletic to go through those position changes and perform at an increasingly higher level.

 The ability  and willingness to go through that progression reminds me of Devon Johnson.

I now remember seeing this young man play last fall, but didn't put him on my radar screen other than he made several good plays.  I live in this neighborhood and years ago I saw a big, lanky QB from H.D. Woodson play against this same school, Coolidge.  It turned out to be Byron Leftwich.  I'm glad to see that MU is again looking at DC High Schools.
