  • Look at this list.  This was going into last year, so a few will not be there next year, but man that seems like a lot:

The Zips have 14 transfers: senior running back Donnell Alexander (Colorado State), senior offensive lineman Tommy Brown (Ohio State), sophomore quarterback Tra'Von Chapman (Pittsburgh), redshirt junior cornerback Wedley Charles (Hiram), redshirt senior defensive lineman Rodney Coe (Iowa State), redshirt sophomore wide receiver A.J. Coney (Weber State), junior defensive back Larry Hope (Miami, Fla.), redshirt senior defensive back Bryce Jones (Boston College), sophomore offensive lineman Josh Krok (Kentucky), redshirt junior defensive lineman Jamal Marcus (Ohio State), senior linebacker Darryl Monroe (Washington State), junior defensive lineman Se'Von Pittman (Ohio State), junior offensive lineman Xavier Quigley (Western Iowa) and sophomore athlete Anthony Young (Indiana).
"Too many people are thinking of security instead of opportunity; they seem more afraid of life than of death"  – James F. Byrnes

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • We know that many P5 transfers aren't all that great. Some will work out, many won't. Akron lost a ton of starters. They'll need all those guys and more.

  • That's a lot of transfers. 2/3 from OSU made sense. Idk why the Hiram player moved up either. It seems like going the juco route which as we all know gets you in trouble long term

  • Terry Bowden has name recognition, plus the Zips have fabulous facilities...their stadium is as nice as any...and they're coming off an 8-5 season with a bowl win...I believe they'll be a more than worthy opponent, as most MAC schools are, whether we want to admit it or not...
