There has been several head coaches that have been accused of hitting players.  I can't believe that no players have kicked the $hit of a head coach in return.  I not for that to happen or anything, but hitting or slapping a grown man can could certainly cause a certain type player to retaliate back with violence.

I don't wanna say Butch is good as gone, but him and Dave Hart are taking a ton of heat right now to be gone. After the police stuff got released from the Bowles stuff people aren't pleased. With women's basketball dropping out of the top 25, men's basketball having bad hires and now this. ADs seat has lava coming out of it.

I don't think so E. He was leveraging his talks with us for a better job. Or what he thought. Glad he didn't get the job. UT will be on the NCAA radar.

Count me as one of those who believe that this scandal will evaporate if Tennessee football comes out of the gate at the beginning of the season smoking hot.  I believe that the culture at Tennessee, like most SEC schools, is corrupted and should be fixed but it's been that way in Knoxvile for as long as I can remember and I don't see any changes unless Butch cannot compete.

svherd, We where a backup plan if Jones didn't get the job he really wanted. It worked out best for us, that Jones is not our coach. I really feel for the Tennessee fans, they can't catch a break. First that ass Lane Kiffen up and left after a year and Jones the ass is at the controls now. The Vol fans deserve better.

Whoever gets the football team will have a lot of talent for next year if Butch gets let go
