For rural West Virginians who don’t have access to high-speed Internet — or have slow and unreliable service — help won’t be on the way from the state Legislature anytime soon.

Although the state Senate passed legislation that aims to expand broadband Internet across the state, the House of Delegates declined to take up the bills, parking them in committees and dooming them to the legislative landfill with just two days remaining in this year’s regular session.

  • Yeah, Frontier has already been paid by federal grant money to do this job, but they don't want to spend the money to run the cable, so they just pay the politicians and they kill any bill....How American of them...
