Doc often says that recruits buy with their eyes, and Tenn has plenty of eye candy to see. At least he's not going to WPU.

Wish them well if that's what they want.  No secret that there are plenty of "issues", sleaziness, off the field problems, academic "fraud", etc., etc., associated with one or both of these programs.  Questions have arisen fairly often about Butch Jones's program at UT, and we all know what Larry Fedora is at UNC.  Not to mention, of course, the blatant academic fraud shenanigans at Chapel Hill which the spineless NCAA and weasely administrators there like Ollie Luck are doing their damnedest to sweep under the rug, make go away with NO several penalties, etc., etc.

I must agree with coalherd on this one.  UT and UNC do not represent the hallowed halls of fair play and sportsmanship.  I don't think Butch Jones is any better than Donnie Tyndal in my book.

I know that Tennessee went ALL OUT in their recruitment of Locklear.

I think he chose them because of how hard and how well they recruited him.

We signed 5 young'uns in Feb that avg 6'3 295. Devers and Dowrey have 3 yrs to play and Felix and Addison 2 yrs. Plus Binot, Locklear and Levi Brown. We are in very good shape right now. And we are looking fwrd to the huge guy from Pt Pleasant next yr.

Outside the title 9 issue that just happened which is really more school wide issue, Jones hasn't had any scandals in recruiting. All have been level 3 minor stuff. Locklear was a big get for UT which is a great thing for the area and state. Love all the WV talent getting looks by the FBS schools right now.
