  • Per TSN.CA

Kevin Glenn will miss Friday's game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats with an eye infection.

The Montreal Alouettes quarterback missed his third straight practice Wednesday dealing with the infection. Backup Rakeem Cato, who has been taking first team reps in practice all week, was told Wednesday he would be starting behind centre.

The CFL has a pretty good website at cfl.ca. All the games are streamed on ESPN3 & there are a fair number broadcast on ESPN & ESPN2.
In memory of Dr Daniel P Babb who taught so much to so many.

  • That was a disaster. Cato didn't play too well, but he had no chance with MTL's abysmal O-line. 7 points on 2 FG's and a rouge in a blowout loss.

He got pulled in the 4th for Adams who was even worse on his 3 or so drives.

You're only as good as your O-Line.. with that said, Tom Brady would have struggled tonight with that line..

  • The Als team could be extras for the walking dead right now. Their leading receiver was lost for the year in their previous game, their top running back who came into this week as one of the leading rushers in the CFL was also out and they had a handful of other injuries in keyspots. Cato wasn't as sharp as he could be but he was thrown into a tough situation with all of the injuries. Still he finished 18-25 for 203 yards. Got bailed out on a couple of near picks too. Hopefully he'll have more opportunities.
