    “It feels good. I already know how the D-end works, so it’s really there for me, and I understand it,” Couch said Friday.

    The Miami native was the first commitment of the Thundering Herd’s 2015 recruiting class, committing in February 2014 and enrolling at MU the next January. He comes from Miami Central High, the school that produced the legendary Rakeem Cato-Tommy Shuler pass combo.

    He played defensive end in high school, but was pegged at outside linebacker when MU’s signing day came around. He redshirted in 2015 and made a single tackle last fall.
