We've got to get a run game going.  UC held us to 3 yards per rush.  At some point that is going to prevent us from winning.  I agree though the progress is encouraging.

Completely agree ! !  Lets play the entire season and then evaluate (good or bad).  Praying the injury bug doesn't hit MU and the attrition rate decreases for the rest of the season. I'm just gonna try to "keep an even keel".

I felt like the replacements on the oline did better last night than the starters. And who ever came in at RT definitely did better at holding their RE out of the pocket.

honestly, the Bearcats run defense might be a lot better than any we face coming up though.

I don't know about how great they are relatively, but I'm sure they learned a lot playing Navy the week before and next to a triple option team, our run game probably seemed slow-motion.  Had we played them before Navy we probably would have been much more successful.

Hope Coach Lambert and his staff survive past this season at UNCC.  Hopefully, the 49ers will start to turn their season ONLY after the MU game this Saturday!!
