Marshall scored three touchdowns in the opening five minutes of the fourth quarter and the defense was again dominant as the Thundering Herd (5-1, 2-0 Conference USA) rolled to a 35-3 victory over Old Dominion University (2-4, 0-2) in front of 26,097 spectators in Joan C. Edwards Stadium."I can't say enough about our defense," Marshall head coach Doc Holliday said. "They held that team to less than 200 yards and that team, the one thing they had done was gain a bunch of yards through the games previously."
