Our vote in the AP poll came from Rick Wright of the Albuquerque Journal (Albuquerque, NM).

We are #36 in the Amway Coaches Poll with 3 votes - and we await the 1-130 re-rank due out from USAToday sometime today.

Interestingly, San Diego State is ranked 29th after having been stomped 31-14 by Boise in San Diego - with 35 more votes than Boise got.

If it's all about the body of work, SDSU has had a solid year to this point, having defeated Stanford, Arizona State, and an NIU team with a win over Nebraska. 

Whereas Boise hadn't accomplish jack this year until their win over SDSU, with their only other win of note being over Troy (though LSU couldn't beat Troy).

If he would have to tell the truth...He would probably say that they are 5-1   I'm willing to bet that if you caught him out on a sidewalk with no access to any info and ask him who the 5 wins were against, that he wouldn't be able to tell you the first one.  He probably couldn't tell you the conference were in....

Pet peeve but should call them points. Others receiving "votes" means someone voted, but the number is a point. For instance, if wright was the only one that voted for us, he must have voted for us at #23, which would total 3 points.
