  • Great news any time a local team does anything on the national level . I work with some Wheelersburg guys , come football season I put them right up there with UK bball fans , pure a***** ,  but they sure are excited about this title.

  • I believe it was 2 or 3 years ago now that the St. Albans girls went to the semi finals.  Their is a lot of softball talent in wv.  There is a pitcher down here that pitches like 75mph and she is a freshmen.  Her name is Tavin (I probably miss spelled her name).  That is gas.  Greg Garber the now coach a Nitro high coach these girls back then.  He was her pitching coach.  He pitched the hell out of her.  Softball is crazy.  There is no pitch rules.  One pitcher can just be a one person team.  Anyway, Congratulations to Wheelersburg!

  • I grew up and played all star baseball with the head football coach at Wheelersburg Rob Woodward. Always good conversation with him when we see each other. Very class act guy and was really happy for him and his dad Tombo when they won the state championship last year.

She had better end up with the Herd or I will turn into one of those negative nellies on the board who are after you every time you say something positive about our football program!!
