     It's the school's first year fielding football. It could be a long season.

     They are only having a freshman and/or JV team this year.

    • that picture of Chad is him coaching the middle school team, The Lexington School, which is where his kids go.  Their colors are green and white.

    Unless something has changed, the new program he started at Sayre are....you won't believe it...Blue and yellow.  When I see Chad again I am going to tell him they need to made a change in colors.  Sayre is a private school here in Lexington.  They were leading their first game 15-0 over Bourbon County JV before the game was called by Lightning.  My son and Chad's middle son played on the same baseball team this past Spring so I got to know the Pennington's quite well.  Excellent family.  We talked a lot about the football team and what all he was doing in preparing for their first season
