  • Their run defense gives up 213 yards per game. Will we have Knox, Tyler King and Keon Davis all at full speed? If so we could control the game. If USF gets their act together like they had earlier in the season, we could be in for a long night. I am hoping our run defense continues its solid play. Their QB was a 5 star coming out of hs. He is still good at times. Green is developing but he is not a frosh anymore. This will be a good stage for him. Hopefully they try to stop the run and Green to Brady makes them pay big time.

  • I love King and it was nice to see Keion back on returns, but Knox was one of the few guys who showed up to play on Saturday.  Was A-Train hurt? there were two short yardage situations I would have expected to see him in on that he wasn't.

  • Before losing their first string passer they beat Illinois and Ga Tech and was 7 and 0. We prob should be a serious dog if Barnett is healthy.

  • They lost 3 of the final 5 WITH Barnett at qb.

The Herd is presently 2.5pt favorites.

  • 3 weeks give USF time to get their team healthy...a lot depends on their QB play...Knox has shown to be a beast running the ball and with King and Davis we should just pound the ball as much as possible.

    Doubt King plays.

  • They are supposed to get their QB back for the bowl (ankle) according to the NCAA injury report.

I accept what you're saying bbcard1.  I was there and was really puzzled when we still had some remote chance to make it a game, we had a 4th and 1 deep in Tech territory and Anderson was not in.  I know he played earlier in the game.  I think we ran Knox on the 4th down play and Tech stopped us short.  Doc commented later on TV that there were some injuries in the game, of course no indication how bad, serious, etc.  Maybe Anderson was one of these.  Hopefully, no one was knocked of the bowl game in Saturday's action.  Only a couple of weeks and 2 days or so till the Bowl game, so not a lot time to "get well".  Agree, would be great to have Knox backed up/complemented with an almost totally healthy Davis, Anderson, etc.
