  •  I think the outdoor practices are open to students, season ticket holders and Big Green members. If you are not one of the three, it's easy and inexpensive to become a Big Green member. We welcome you.

  • It is amazing the things you see on the official Herd sports website Herdzone.com.

Marshall Football announced the 2019 preseason camp schedule on Wednesday. The practices will be open to all Big Green members, season ticket-holders and Marshall University students (with a valid ID). Representatives will be on hand for those inquiring about purchasing Big Green memberships and/or Thundering Herd football season tickets.

Entry to the workouts may be gained through Gate B, next to the HerdZone Stadium Store at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. However, all practices forced into the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Complex due to inclement weather will be closed. Please stay tuned to the program's official Twitter account (@HerdFB) for updates regarding this circumstance.

Practices begin Friday and will last approximately two hours and 30 minutes apiece.

The Thundering Herd will host its Fan Day on Sunday, August 4 from 4-6 p.m. on the turf at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Marshall will host its third Big Green, Season-Ticket Holder Appreciation Night following the Friday, August 9 practice at approximately 6:30 p.m.

Excellent practice updates over on the Herd Insider of this board. Morph does an awesome job and it's the main reason I am an Insider. The cost is only $12/YEAR...literally $1/month and its the best money I spend each year. I check that board before I come to this one.

  • Information tariffs are not high on my "to do" list as a retired fan - so I continue to pass on any fee for information not exclusive to or owned by the Morphs of this new world of sports fan gatherings places.

The fun of the old days is gone along with a general camaraderie. We will never return to the glory days because fan board attitudes prohibit it. Even the newspapers are holding back information behind a paywall and the sparse articles I do see are dated and never cover player/team performance which says nobody needs or cares about us far-away fans.

And now we have to put up with Facebook BS in order to see subpar Marshall live streaming.

Yes Morphs posts are worth the fee, and then some.
I haven’t renewed my Insider subscription because I couldn’t get one response from anyone when my subscription was cut off a couple of months ago, and, I reached out to see what the problem was. I eventually figured out it was an expired CC on file that didn’t renew my annual subscription, which is what I thought it was, but I figured Dale or someone else would have at least responded to my emails and PM’s after I noticed I didn’t have access to the Insider board to make sure that I renew my subscription. I sent several messages. Still not one word from anyone.

Surprising. Dale is usually on top of things. The Herd Insider Subs are the lifeblood of the Board. Don't give up is my advice.

Information tariffs. Smh. It's a dollar a month man, and keeps this board running. I don't read all the reports and sometimes don't logon for weeks, but i do it to support herdfans, which is the best message board for herd fans out there. Everything else is a bonus. And you get some good nuggets of info too from various posters. Like when the devon johnson injury fiasco was going on, and Doc keot saying week to week etc, it was posted there exactly what his injury was and he was done, basically the week after it happened. Also tons of recruiting news, insights, etc.

I'm sorry Breck, but I'm trying to find messages from you and I dont see any.  Were you emailing me at admin@herdfans.com or some other method? I get notifications on my phone when emails arrive to that address and as others can attest I reply fairly quick.  I'd like to get you taken care of asap.

  • I had a technical problem and WOlfman was right on it.  Fixed it up and got me back on the board.
