  • Doc doing everything he can to lose in second half against an inferior oponent. 3rd and long run up...getting paid by wvu or something...why have we shut down the offense again in 2nd half??

  • I certainly don't understand how we look so good the first 1/2 and then so poor in the 2nd 1/2 (so far).  I get the Knox isn't in the game (for whatever reason) but everything else that was working we abandoned too.  Makes no sense.

It’s called lack of adjustments. Just like last week. Boise coaches made them, our staff didn’t.

  • I thought the play call was fine considering we were going for it on 4th down. In that situation its no different that running the ball on 2nd and long.

  • Losing Knox really hurt our Offense, but solid game against the MAC favorite. Beat the Ohio Bobkittens, be happy.

I did chuckle when the announcers said they didn't have info on Knox's absence.  Welcome to the club, guys, you may never find out what happened.

But I did hear that one of 24's sources said he was abducted by aliens.  Sad really, if true.

  • Knox was on crutches on the sideline during the second half.  He was injured on his last carry of the first half, limped to the sideline and sat on the dline section of the bench.

Hopefully it is something mild and the bye week will let him get healthy.

This week was nothing like Boise.  First, Knox didn't come out of the locker room.  Evans is a good back, but he is not Knox.  That changed everything.  Second, if Gaines catches that bread basket catch on the 50 yard throw, he's into the end zone.
