  • I was just looking at the Bottom 25 teams on cbssports and there is 7 teams out of CUSA who make the list.   Ohio also made that list this week.   I remember when we joined CVUSA it was a exciting step we wanted out of the MAC and there were bigger schools in the conference Houston, ECU, Cinci, TCU was leaving but still better competition.    Grant it we were on probation at the time and most of those teams kicked our butt but it always makes me wonder if we wouldn't have been on probation if we would be on a different level talent/competitive wise now.    Could we have been that Boise or UCF?    It has seemed constantly year in and year out that CUSA ranks pretty much at the bottom of all conferences maybe a little ahead of the MAC and Sunbelt but not far.   This being said there is no reason we shouldn't take this conference every year seeing how bad most of the teams in this conference are.

  • It really makes me wonder what would have happened if Marshall stayed in the MAC. I imagine the Snyder years would have gone at least a little better. Would the Herd still have found its way into C-USA in 2013 during the next realignment? Would that have been considered a move up?

  • We have enough Talent year in and out to play from the AAC down, grant it in the AAC we would be a 7 win at best team most years but still be bowling at the end of year.   More money from TV deals etc.   CUSA is a joke when it comes to taking care of the teams and trying to get more money for the conference.   Again with the talent we have this year we shouldn't even have a team be competitive with us outside of maybe North Texas, La Tech and maybe Southern Miss.

If we would have just been attractive enough for the AAC to take us when they started up.

  • We can't do anything about the conference but we as fans can demand a coach who wins this shitty conference on a regular basis.
