  • Espn has 0 footage on him.  They said ..”transfer Rhode Island.”   Thankfully we can still get FCS transfers.  And maybe his old teammate at Rhode Island was just drafted at wr

I think that’s a cop out from ESPN. We were on their network for the bowl game. He hit a 50 yarder that game. How do they not have footage.

  • Maybe cause Marshall and all CUSA teams are NOT among ESPN's "Faves".  If JR would have kicked for a MAC school don't you think that ESPN would have had viable footage on him and identified him as to his right school/college?  Just another negative offshoot of the ongoing stream of flubs, bonehead decisions, gross errors, etc., made by the clowns, incompetents, and buffoons who make up CUSA's League Office down there in Frisco, Dallas, or wherever!!

I’m going to give espn the benefit of the doubt. He was projected as like the 12th best kicker. Why would they bother to prepare film for the 12th best kicker that no one thought was getting picked.

I’m pumped about it though as a Pats and Herd fan. I just hope he makes it. Swag and Lee Smith got picked and didn’t make it through camp.

They showed the pick 15 min or so after the pick was made. They own the footage. They have the box score on their website to what point in time the kick was made. It would not have been hard to splice even the field goal portion in that frame.
