  • Is Marshall going to provide masks for every student? Are we going to hire a mask police to go around checking? Are they required to wear masks in the dorms that are going to be full capacity? What about walking from class to class?

  • I appreciate all of the input on my post. I had a health provider tell me pretty much the same thing at the Y this morning that many of you have related to me.  So I went out and purchased one of those 2$ bad boys at CVS this morning.  I want one of those that makes you look like Jesse James getting ready to rob a bank.  ;D

  • Good, lengthy article, elginherd, in current issue of Sports Illustrated about how sports, mainly major league baseball, and society dealt with that 1918 pandemic.  If one is searching for anything "sports related" to help make up for our current lack of any significant team sports, or needs a "sports fix" and doesn't mind it dealing with a sport a century ago, might want to check out the article.

Coal, would you mind posting the title of the SI article?

Elginherd, it is in the July edition of SI, one with Babe Ruth on the cover.  May be able to access it on SI.com. "The HUB-Love, War, Influenza and the World Series", a story from the great beyond, by Tom Verducci.
