I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ll put that out upfront. But let’s wait 2 weeks and see what’s happening. Seems younger people are getting it now and they spread it quicker among themselves than the old folks do.

The thing is, the old folks will still get it from them. And they’re the ones we worry about. Hopefully the death rate stays where it is or drops. We should learn more by then from this outbreak.

Here’s the deal, any new virus will take the low hanging fruit first, please pardon the phrasing,  which is what happened in NY and NJ with the nursing homes being required to take covid + patients. the best course of action right now is to isolate those that are at risk and do extensive contact tracing to those who have tested positive.

That is absolutely correct...and that's what the countries who have opened up successfully have done.

Myrtle Beach has the issue of young groups hanging out en mass at the local shopping centers and hot spots, that is recipe for COVID infections. Two youth groups from WV went down there and brought it back to WV. Horry Co. has a big time issue in the long term care facilities as well.

Wear a mask, social distance, don't put yourself or family in situations that might compromise everyone and things will be fine. I know two doctors families that just came back from the MB area and they are fine. Common sense stuff.

Yep. That's why I am taking my 9mm with me this trip. Heading to Pawleys Island in two weeks. Masks, gloves and sanitizer in hand. Have a list of eateries who deliver as well.

Not that many have died directly from Covid. Dude, live your life in fear, I don’t care. Stay in your house 24/7 and you can guarantee you won’t get it. Why do you want everyone else shutting down?

I see this as a common sense issue..if you are worried take the pre cautions you feel necessary.  At this point I personally know 13 people who have had this and NONE have had anything more than minor issues.  I travel cross country and am flying to LA Monday.

I accept the risk but I also know that the complete shut down of the economy is way worse than anything this virus can do. 

Live your life but don’t tell me how to live mine.
