  • I noticed USF @ Notre Dame will air on the USA Network (owned by NBCUniversal) because of conflicting games on NBC and NBCSN.

This is another great reason for C-USA to work out the next TV deal with NBC/NBCSN. Conference USA on the USA Network just writes itself doesn't it?

  • That would be pretty cool! But, we need to go for the top dog and lay it all on the line. ESPN or bust!

  • ESPN lately is no different than CNN or CNBC..it is more politics then sports...I find myself hardly watching any ESPN because of it.  Their radio ratings are way down compared to Foxsports which is up.  I think most people and it doesn’t matter what side of the political debate you are in watch sporrs for an escape and not to be preached to.

It would be nice. But I don't see them offering anything but the MAC and Sun Belt weeknight treatment. I'd be happy with them receiving a package of games though.

    Kind of a NBC/ESPN/ESPN+ situation.

Correct. I stopped watching ESPN Sportscenter years ago. The days of highlights and nothing more are long gone. The on air people are all turning into opinion givers. I watched ESPN for sports, not political commentary.
I could care less what Lebron James thinks about anything let alone some sports reader on ESPN

  • I would prefer to go all in with ESPN similar to what the Sun Belt did. Having the ability to broadcast all the games that are not on linear tv through ESPN+ is a fan friendly option. If I’m not mistaken the home team provides the announcers for those games as well, which I Always thought would be cool to hire Keith Morehouse for play by play just like the old THN days.

In regards to NBCS, I’d be on board with them too. Love their production and since they really don’t have any other CFB content we wouldn’t have to fight for TV coverage. You just have to wonder how much they really want to get involved with something like Conference USA? Maybe if they did it could work out to where they have Tier 1 rights and ESPN have the Tier 2? Don’t know a whole lot of tv rights and stuff. Really, really, miss DShoe inserting his knowledge in these threads.
