Topic: Watching Youtube video's about Marshall v. App State

So i was at work after the game, and I started listening to Marshall v. App State predictions.  Its petty of me, but I love hearing people doubt us and have to eat their words.

Now most of these guys are betting guru's.  Some are just guys having fun going on record prediction the season.  There were probably 30 video's I listened to maybe 10 or so. Some are were very insightful and had some interesting thoughts two of them stood out to me.

First a couple guys had the theory was that Boone NC has a higher elevation and that App had 11 (maybe 12) summer practices  and we didn't have any.   they commit to the run  and have consistent success.   Basically ASU would be in better shape, had more summer coaching and will have better execution.  Conversely, we would have poor defensive execution and they would run all over us.  To be honest it was a very convincing logical argument.

Second video, there were two guys predicting, now granted the first guy was goofy and thought we were in the sun belt at first, but the second guy was sharp as a tack.  Both picked us to win and they both predicted us to win the CUSA. 

The sharp guy said Marshall will win, because they have more talent.  He said he had metrics that showed we out recruited ASU over last few years and our starter were better players.  He nailed the prediction.

So what do you think about the talent metric?   Is it true or BS?

The talent has been there to win many more games than the Herd has under Doc. One thing I have noticed about pro and high-level sports - much of the time you win when it's your turn to win, if you can hold out that long.
