Isn't that the Waterboy's school?  I suppose he's graduated by now, though.

  • I didn't realize Terry was working as a graduate assistant with the football team at Clemson.  64 years old.  Most 64 year olds are counting the days till retirement not working on graduate degrees.

Revamping his rep and rehabilitating his coaching creds.  What better place than one of the Gold Standards like Clemson?  Obviously worked for him as the folks in Louisiana bought in, apparently.

    The problem was winning.

Bowden had only 2 winning seasons during his 7 season run at Akron.  His overall record at Akron was 35-52.  He went 4-8 his last season.  2-6 in the MAC.

  • All I remember of Bowden's tenure at Akron was watching him run Doc off the Edwards Field Turf in 2016, 65-38.

I certainly don't follow the Zips, but I imagine that was one of their biggest wins

And the only team they could do that against was a Doc team and on our turf I might add.
