  • All,

In pursuing some other "national program" message board, I found a reference to a thread on bigsoccer.com that was talking/trashing us, so I joined.  However, I started a new Marshall 2021 thread (if Akron and Indiana have one, so should we - other than the one trashing us).  If you are interested in having a more national soccer discussion, the link below is probably the place to do it.  This has been the most active NCAA soccer discussion I've seen (this site also has soccer boards for all levels, but at this point I really only care about repping Marshall), so it might be nice to have Herd fans dominating this space, too!  Of course, I think this forum should continue to be the go-to place for Herd game threads and discussion///

Can't believe that Indiana crybaby started rumors that we were under investigation.  6 months later and they're still sore losers.  They will never accept that we beat them fairly from the temper tantrum we were offsides at the time of the goal right up to we have too many players on our roster right now.  If they don't adapt to the "new" way soccer is being organized at the collegiate level they are going to soon find themselves completely left behind, hanging onto the past.

I've noticed recently that when TopDrawer or College Soccer News have posted about Marshall on twitter recently, its getting alot of likes and interactions, and when they post on anyone else, there's basically any signs of life.  I think one way to help keep Herd Soccer at the top is to have a large and noticeable presence on national forums, with the 4 major poll selectors, etc.  We should be creating the impression that we have the best NCAA soccer fans, period.

I think we should be interacting where ever NCAA soccer is found!  Because WE ARE... NCAA SOCCER!  WE ARE MARSHALL!

I not only agree, but I truly think we can have not only the best, but the biggest collegiate soccer fan base. If we continue winning at high levels, which I think we will, then our community will continue to support this program. Attendance will continue to grow.
