    • Remember when Tulane was giving Oklahoma all they wanted?  ECU beating them 31-7 right now.  I think ECU may have turned a corner and we got caught i the crossfire.   We still should have won that game, but they found an offense in there somewhere.

    • I told my dad leaving the game that night ECU was better than I thought they would be. Definitely a bowl team, and I think Mike Houston is a good coach.

    • Hopefully both losses taught us a little?We have to play a full game and get better in pass coverage.

    1. If leading slow tempo, run clock, keep the chains moving.  2. If losing, full steam ahead until leading and then see #1.

    Don't punt when you can score or get the first in their territory.  Play your defense and don't get picked apart in some kind of prevent that never works.  And if something is working, for God's sake, do it till it doesn't.  Make them adjust.

    • App St rolled @Georgia State 45-17.  Ga St's only win this season?  Against Charlotte.  But the point is App went on the road and crushed them and we lost by one @App.  We made some errors for sure and some blunders in clock management and possession control.  But I think both those teams are better than anything we'll see in CUSA this season.  Watched FAU/FIU.  FAU did not impress me.  UAB is vulnerable on defense if we pass on them smartly.  Should be pretty smooth, but time will tell if ECU and App are pretty good or we just made them look that way.  Evidence starting to show the former.  I don't think App would beat ECU like they did were this game played today.  Be more like our games with them.

    Yeah, Houston was a quality hire, IMO.  Developed a sound, solid FCS powerhouse program at JMU.
