Danny has said that he would love to see Corny take his place. I have heard nothing about him being a "coach in waiting"

When Corny was brought in there were several posts indicating DD had hopes of grooming him as the next HC.

With MU being a state school I'm fairly sure such plans are hopes only and can't "be on paper."  I'm pretty sure state law would require advertising the job and going through some sort of formal process, even if the actual decision is a forgone conclusion.

And I'm sure when Corny came on board, whatever Danny hoped could in no way bind or commit future Athletic Directors, the University President, and the Board of Governors in any way.  Whenever a opening presents itself, it will be filled by those folks, not by any prior coach.
